Mar Marine served the first of its new special meals yesterday and it was a big hit! Debbie (SV Plucky Lady), a skillful chef with many years experience in France and Belgium, offered her expertise to initiate additions to Mar's menu. Diners enjoyed diverse and delicious appetizer 'tapas' consisting of a layered tuna salad, olives, and Camembert cheese melts. The entree was a French specialty, Beef Bourguignon, accompanied by Potatoes Dauphinoise, creamed cauliflower and courgettes (zucchini), and a tomato and cucumber salad. 

ImageVarious tasty specials will continue to be offered, indefinitely, every Tuesday and Thursday for lunch and dinner. The cost is a very reasonable Q50, which includes one drink (soda, wine or beer) and either an appetizer or a dessert, depending on the menu for the day.
