spent 6 months wintering out in caulker in 08/09... local elderly lady got her throat cut in her own home and died... no one ever arresteed..... later a female tourest got her throat cut and robbed but lived....
spent 9 months wintering in caulker in 09/10.... several beatings of tourest and i was also jumped by three crips, was told who, and went to the cop shop... five uniformed policemen were standing inside.... told them what took place... one replied.. i want you to understand something sir... we dont give a damn about you... your problem or the u.s. embasy..
you got that... i said i understood completely and turned and walked out..
will not go to belize again...
