As those of you listening to the Net in the mornings have heard, Casa Guatemala has a group of Stand Up Paddleboarders joining us this week who will be doing a ride to raise money for the orphanage all the way from Casa Guatemala to Punta Gorda Belize. For those of you who don't know what Stand Up Paddleboarding is (SUP), you can check out Victor's website here: http://www.deflatedfilm.com/
It's not going to be an easy ride, especially if this weather keeps up! So we need boats to volunteer to come along for emergency and moral support. We will be spending the first night in Livingston and then heading out VERY early the next morning; probably around 4am for the epic crossing!
The trip will be video taped and will be a part of an upcoming documentary that is going to be used to raise funds for Casa Guatemala. We would love to have as many boats along as possible to show the support of our community!

When my bride, Arline, and I arrive in the rio Dulce soon, we want to met such an enterprising person as yourself.

Thanks for those kind words Gary, I guess I should make it clear that I will be coming along for moral support and not as part of the professional paddle team! However, I will do some paddling along the way. We will have some extra boards with us and everyone is welcome to come and give it a try for part of the trip!
