A couple of years ago I was in Xela (Quetzaltenango) on Christmas Eve. The city has a great big tree like the one they put up in Guatemala City...and right on the very top where the angel normally goes...is a huge neon Gallo label! This photo is of the fireworks over the tree, and they do put on a spectacular show, in spite of a little cerveza promotion!

Hope everyone on the rio had a good one! (Christmas and/or cerveza)
