I am not sure that I understand the comment about the invisible people from Mario's. I know that in the Mario's launcha there were 7 people and then there were 3 other dinghies from Mario's with about 5 additional people. So I don't think that we were invisible. I know that several of us purchased treasures. Question

Encor .. please explain.

I didn't understand the "invisible people" thing either. Thought it must've been a joke privado between you and the Mario's group of attendees.

But apparently they are confused also.

???

don't know nothin' about the invisible stuff... except that a lot of
these fun things are reported on "after the fact" with no advance
publicity in the chisme... which causes some of us to be invisible
or non-existent at the party.

some of us are out of range of the VHF net.

can we get a heads up in the chisme vindicator or here on the forums
before these events happen?

i'.e., Scoop's 61st Birthday To Be Celebrated At The World Famous
Crow Bar Wednesday, January 30, 2008... Free Beers For All!!

.....when it was noticed that the gregarious gang from mario's was in attendance, and a comment was made that they all escaped, one of them said, and i quote: "you didn't see us here"

sounds sorta invisible to me.

Shocked

my story, i'm sticking with it

Dear Mr. Polvo Invisible, your post

Will you be in able to join the party, or will all those free beers just go automatically on your tab?

Perhaps you should get a better antenna as to aid you in keeping abreast of the happenings?

Ah, NOW I understand!

It's good to see the Mario's bunch out and about on the river.

Sorry 'bout the lack of advance news on the big event, Polvisimo. Sometimes I forget about that VHF line of sight limitation.

Hmmm .. is it time for a Calendar of Events?
Perhaps even listing birthdays? Encor has a magical system for remembering birthdays ... I sure don't.

Anyway, thanks for letting everyone know that I'm still younger than Hupe.

Thanks for the clarification. We at Mario's really do leave the compound on occasion. Very Happy

mots- beer that is free does not go on a "tab" by nature of the definition
of the word "free"... it also does not go to jail and is not subject to rules
or external authority.

the quality and size of my "antenna" is fine, thank you very much. my
problem is location, location, location. i'm just a bit too far up the wrong
rio for reception at this time. you don't "dis" my "antenna"... and i won't
"dis" you for keeping abreast in your cockpit or v-berth.

scoop- in checking my calendar i see that a calendar is not scheduled
to be deployed until you have someone who'll agree to maintain it.
in keeping with our modern web 2.0 style of user supplied content,
i have a good plan for the format that will allow any registered
user of the forums to submit events and entries for it... but it will
still need a moderator/textsmith/proofreader. (gato or encor perhaps?)

Fill us in Dustman!

I am sure between the bunch of us we can keep up a calendar.

That Motsy is a nasty girl for criticizing the size of your antenna. I always heard "it's not the size of the antenna that matters, it's the motion of the ocean." At least that's what I have heard.

....yeah, and what does motsy know about abreast of happenings anyway?

if she wants to know about abreast issues, maybe she should read about nipples in the pub. 'nuff said

My dear Mr. Dongato, once again you appear to be having a laugh at the expense of my family.

As you very well know, that is a really old picture of my sister, she is so very much more attractive these days , after those ortho/surgical procedures, that even Mr.Markfisher can't stay away.

Actually, he is looking forward to the new lineal scrapings.

actually, i did, but by the time i was ready to post it, the message board
kicked me off. i had to sign in again and POOF my message was gone.
i had to rewrite it from memory and my memory has a hole in it.

i remember writing something cute, like... "i'll be there in spirit. (rum)"

i have a previous commitment to meet captn gary in sandy eggo for
a little excursion out into the pacific on his ketch to take care of some
serious stuff.

but this begs the same question mots... will YOU be here?

Dear Mrs. Mots:

Thanks but not really interested in your sister, anyway I am sure she can do much better then me. That should not be hard at all. The picture of me is current, so all you ladies take notice how good looking I am. And life with me at Bruno's has its advantages. I am doing interviews 24/7 only woman fit and agile need apply.
